Cake Poker launched their WSOP satellites one week ago and they have already awarded 10 World Series of Poker - 2008 prize packages. On Sunday March 9, 2008, Cake’s WSOP $12k final sent a total of 3 players to this year’s event with dreams of winning a huge stack of cash and some notoriety.

There are three ways to get involved in Cake’s WSOP events:

1) Gold Card Daily Giveaways - From March through June, Cake will award 50 WSOP $2,000 Prize Packages through their Gold Card daily lottery. Gold Cards can be collected by playing real money ring games.

2) ShareCake - Simply refer a friend to Cake Poker and earn valuable points in their ShareCake contest. Send them the most valuable leads and they will award you with a 2008 WSOP $10,000 seat.

3) WSOP Satellites - Gold Chip Satellites will be held daily and will cost players 5 GC - R&A. The top ten players advance to the WSOP $12k Final.

Weekend WSOP direct qualifiers are played on Saturdays and Sundays at 5:00 PM ET. Check for daily cash, Gold Chip and Gold Card satellites under the ‘Events’ tab within Tournaments.
