eastgate did get lucky both times (it’s not like either of his calls was a “good” call in that he pretty much had the nuts both times), but those were both terrible all-in bluffs. it’s not like either Schwartz or Phillips were shortstacked that much: they could’ve waited for a strong pocket to go all-in pre-flop and turned it into a coin flip. both of them were over-aggressive playing for tiny pots and they got caught.
Can’t blame Schwartz for bluffing all in. If Eastgate hadn’t hit his 5, he would have surely put Schwartz on a monster hand.

Schwartz played well, decided when he had the A10 to do it, all-or-nothing.
Phillips was fatigued, but played good poker until the final table. As referenced by Chad earlier, losing momentum through the four-month break cost him dearly.
